Dope Beats + Amazing Lyricists=The Brain Freeze

At the LMU show I went to this weekend I saw The Brain Freeze perform. I went into the show unknowing to who this group was and left as a big fan. The beats had a little bit of soul mixed with harder banging tracks and the lyrics actually had something to say, which if you are a really hip hop head is sad to say hard to find in this age of wack commercialized "rap/hip PoP." As each of the crew had their turn on the mic you could tell that this group were not all identical copies of each other rather they all had their unique style and way of spitting that united to make up a truly amazing group. If you like good music then you should definitely seek them out via myspace.
